| Abstrak | : | Background : Menstruation is a normal and natural thing that happens to every woman, but in some women experience interference when menstrual one is stomach pain (dismenorhoe). Incidence in the world reached a dismenorhoe 50% in women of every country and 55% of women experiencing dismenorhoe in indonesia. Purpose of Research : The purpose of this study was to determine the level of knowledge of dismenorhoe and dismenorhoe in handling SMAN 1 Depok Sleman Yogyakarta. Methods : Type this research is analytic correlation by approach cross sectional. Population sizes 389 and samples 96 students . Data technique using a questionnaire. Results : Level knowledge respondents in criteria high 50%, knowledge in the criteria are as many as 34.3%, knowledge in the criteria low as many as 15.7%. To efforts to handle criteria good as many as 16.7%, criteria efforts to handle enough 40.7%, criteria efforts to handle less 42.6%. Conclusion : Level of knowledge about the most dismenorhoe belongs to the category of high and dismenorhoe handlers most Efforts fall into the category of less.
