| Abstrak | : | Background: Labuan Lombok is one of the stated areas of endemic malaria, the incidence of malaria each year more than 118 cases. This is because the marshes around the houses, habits of the population who do not use a wire gauze and netting. Objectives: To determine the factors that influence the occurrence of malaria in an area health center Labuan Lombok. Methods: The research method used in this study is case control method, where large samples are used for each group consisting of groups of cases (malaria) was 59 and a control group of 59. Data is collected using primary data in the form of questionnaires and data in the form of secondary medical records at local health centers. The analysis conducted in this study is a univariate, bivariate and multivariate. Results: The results obtained that the factor-fakor proven as risk factors affecting the occurrence of malaria is sometimes the presence of cattle around the home (OR: 5385, CI95%: 0.979-29-608), the habit of not doing the wiring pads (OR: 55 742 , CI95%: 4514-688302), and the habit of not using bed nets (OR 79 510, CI95%: 2946-214603). Conclusion: The study concluded that the most dominant risk factor for the occurrence of malaria, there are three, namely, the existence of cattle sheds, do not use mosquito nets when sleeping and habits of the population who do not install the wire gauze.
