| Abstrak | : | Background: In Indonesia, tuberculosis was a major public health problem. The number of tuberculosis patients in Indonesia is 3rd largest in the world after India and Cina with the number of patients approximately 10% of the total number of TB patients in the world. Clinical manifestation of TB in children is different with TB in adult that sometimes leads to under diagnosis. Method: The study was to describe differences clinical manifestations between TB in children and adult in RSU RAA Soewondo Pati. This study used an observational design with description method. Result and discuss: Subject were 146 patients TB children and adult obtained some of differences between children and adults TB of the most significant was hemoptysis, fever, diarrhea, etc. On examination laboratory result found lymphocytosis in children. Conclusion: There are differences pf clinical manifestation of TB children and adults in respiratory sistemik symptomps. TB in child found fever as the most while adult was cough. Children do not have symptomps of hemoptysis and adults do not have complain of diarrhea. On laboratory examination most children have lympocitosis and adults do not have lympositosis sign. LED examination in children is still a healling indicator of medication while adult is no longer indicator of healing. Keywords: clinical manifestation, laboratory, child and adult pulmonary TB |
