| Abstrak | : | Background : Pulmonary Tuberculosis in children is an infectious disease which the incidence is high and dangerous enough. Most common cause of this disease is a bacillus shape microbe called Mycobacterium tuberculosis. Transmission of this disease usually through saliva or sputum of infected person which contains bacillus tuberculosis. This microbe can attack any 4part of body and the commonest part is lung. There are a lot of factors affect the incidence of pulmonary Tuberculosis in children include immunologic status of the host, nutritional status, history of contact, economic status. Objective: To find out patients profile of pulmonary tuberculosis in children at Saras Husada Hospital Purworejo period of January 2010-December 2011 Method: This research is using a cross sectional based research. By using secondary data from medical records periode of January 2010-December 2011 Data is then calculated according the research variable and the result is presented in a descriptive way. Result:Children patient of pulmonary tuberculosis whose diagnosed as pulmonary tuberculosis by child department at Saras Husada Hospital Purworejo period of January 2010-December 2011. Total number of sample which meet the inclusion criteria is 52. based on the gender 28(54%) patients are men, 24(46%) are women, based on age, 0-4 years old are 23(44%) patients, 5-9 years old 21(40%), 10-14 years old 8(16%), based on nutritional status, good nutrition 35(67%), malnutrition 17(33%), based on history of contact, 29(56%) history positive, 23(44%) history negative, based on economic status, general economic 22(42%), health insurance (jamkesmas) 30(58%).
