| Abstrak | : | Background.Schizophrenia is a disease that?s difficult to cure. Where prevalence is constantly increasing.Besides the causes of schizophrenia are multifactorial.Natural disasters is the one of triggers of psychological stressor in humans. Eruption of merapi is a natural disaster what is routine. Object.This study aims to determine the frequency of patients with schizophrenia six months before and after eruption of merapi November 2010 in Grhasia Hospital. Method.A retrospective study was conducted in this study. Using secondary data derived from medical records from May 2010-May 2011. Then grouped into two, six months before eruption of merapi November 2010 (May 2010-October 2010) and six months after eruption merapi November 2010 (December 2010-May 2011). Result.There are total 3472 patients skizofenia from medical records period May 2010-May 2011. 1672 patients derived from the data six months before eruption merapi November 2010 (May 2010-October 2010), 1799 patients derived from six months after eruption of merapi November 2010 (December 2010-May 2011) Conclusion.An increasing number of patients with schizophrenia in Grhasiamuch as 127 after the November 2010 eruption of Merapi Keywords. schizophrenia, eruption of merapi, frequency |
