| Abstrak | : | Background:Genital infection is the kind of infection with increasing rate of incidence from time to time, with so many factors that influence it. By knowing the risk factors of a desease, it will be easier to control and lower the growing rate of infections. Objective: To identify the characteristics and the distribution of patient with genitalia femina infection in Otorita Batam Hospital on 2011. Methods: A descriptive research that observes the secondary data, which is the status of patients from Otorita Batam Hospital?s medical record on the period of 1st January 2011 - 31st December 2011. Results:Distribution of patients infected by genitalia femina with fluor albus as the main complaint in Otorita Batam Hospital on 2011 are 168 people. By age distribution, 13 patients (8%) aged from 15 ? 24, 142 patients (84%) aged from 25 ? 44 years old, and 13 patients (8%) of them aged from 45 ? 64. By work distribution, 75 patients (46%) are employee, 40 patients (25%) are labourer, 30 patients (15%) are unemployed, 20 patients (12%) are enterpreneur, and 3 patients (2%) are commercial sex worker. Out of all patients, 60 of them (36%) use cleanser while the rest 108 (64%) don?t use one. 15 patients (9%) have history or contact with IMS patient while 153 patients (91%) don?t. Conclusion: Patients infected by genitalia femina with fluor albus as the main complaint is found most on the age of 25 ? 44 years old, employee worker, using special cleanser for vaginal area and having no history nor contact with IMS patients.
