| Abstrak | : | Background : Diarrhea is still being the major cause of infant mortality either in developed country or developing country. In Indonesia, the number of that problem can be seen from the large amount of illness and mortality among infants. The mortality of diarrhea sufferers among infants is mainly caused by unavoidable dehydration. Many times the retardation to get aid has a role in causing the mortality of diarrhea. Purpose: The purpose of this research is to find out how does the treatment work for infants in RSUD Soedarso Pontianak (Region Public Hospital Soedarso Pontianak) on January 2009 - December 2009. Research Methods: This research is a multivariate analysis through the study of medical records. Then do research on the profile and treatment of diarrhea for infant. Presentation of data is done by linear regression in table form Results: The test results Dummy multivariate linear regression to compare the differences between antibiotics, zinc, zinc and antibiotic combinations against the duration of treatment with zinc values p = 0.440 (p = 0.1) and antibiotics -0.29 (p = 0.1) Conclusion: The number of children diagnosed with acute diarrhea that come on the Hospital Inpatient Soedarso Pontianak period 1 January to 31 December 2009 is the first order in 10 childhood diseases the most. Age range most commonly found are [1 year 64% 1-3 years followed by 29% and = 5 years of 7%. Duration of treatment is found for 1-3 days consisting of 51% and 3-5 days consisting of 45%. Therapeutic use of antibiotics by 56%. followed by zinc 14%, and the combination of zinc and 30% antibiotics. Therapeutic use of antibiotics is still high enough for the management of acute diarrhea, especially cases of diarrhea in hospitals Soedarso. Keywords : diarrhea, evaluation, zinc, antibiotic |
