| Abstrak | : | Background: ADHD IS an important paediatric psychiatric disorder that have impact on surrounding, especially parents. The felling of failure to nurture the child, risked parent who have child with ADHD falling into depression and many form of psychiatric distress. In the present of distress or pressure people have many coping mechanism. One of the coping mechanism is religiousity. Purpose: To identify the relationship between religiousity and depression of mother who have child with attention deficit hyperactive disorder on The Center Of Assessment and Observation of Child Growth and Development located in Yogyakarta. Method: This study is an analitycal descriptive research using cross sectional study. Population used in this study is all the mother who have child with attention deficit hyperactive disorder on The Center Of Assessment and Observation of Child Growth and Development located in Yogyakarta. Total sampling design method is used in this study and acquired 15subjects. Chi Square is used to analize the data. Result: From 15 Subjects included in the study, 93.33% of the subjects fall under the term religiously obedient and does not have depression. 6,66% of the subjects fall under the term religiously nonobedient and have depression. Religiousity and depression data analysis reveal significancy point 0,000 (p[0,05) Conclussion: There is a significant relationship between religiousity and depression of mother who have child with attention deficit hyperactive disorder on The Center Of Assessment and Observation of Child Growth and Development located in Yogyakarta.
