| Abstrak | : | Background : Type II Diabetes Mellitus (DM type II) is a metabolic disease with various complications. Coronary Heart Disease (CHD) is one of the most frequent complications and can cause mortality in patients with type II DM. Objective : To determine the profile of CHD in type II diabetes in Soedarso Hospital Pontianak in 2009-2010. Research Methods : This study used a descriptive non-experimental methods (observational) with retrospective approach of the medical record notes on the DM CHD patients in Soedarso Hospital II Pontianak in 2009-2010. Results : The complications prevalence of coronary heart disease patients with type II diabetes mellitus equals 9,34% the diabetes mellitus. General characteristics of coronary heart disease patients with diabetes mellitus type II based on the age group is mostly at age ] 55 years by 51% and the male sex by 54%. Lipid profile with total cholesterol based on the most low-risk group by 54%, the highest HDL in high-risk groups by 58%, LDL highest in medium-risk group by 60% and triglycerides in most low-risk group by 60%. Blood glucose levels in most patients who experienced hyperglycemia group by 55%. Blood pressure in most patients who have hypertension group II by 46%. Conclusion : The complications prevalence of coronary heart disease patients with type II diabetes mellitus equals 93,34 % the diabetes mellitus. Incidence of CHD in DM II is much found in age over ] 55 years, male gender, with the conditions of hyperglycemia, hypertension and decreased HDL.
