| Abstrak | : | The Factors Affecting the Scope of Hepatitis B Immunization on Baby Aged 0-7 Days Old in Puskesmas Loa Janan Kutai Kartanegara on 2010 Background: Hepatitis B is a serious health problem, worldwide 78% of its infected people, are living through East Asia and South East Asia. The infected people lived in South East Asia that are mostly got their infection when they?re still baby or children, will be then mostly manifested to a chronic form of Hepatitis B and then they have a risk factor of liver cancer or liver cirrhosis. The World Health Organization (WHO) said that Indonesia ranked three for its infected population of Hepatitis, right after China and India. Objective: This study is purposed to know The Factors Affecting the Scope of Hepatitis B Immunization on Baby Aged 0-7 days old in Puskesmas Loa Janan Kutai Kartanegara. Method: The sample was gained with non-random sampling to 156 respondents. The data was collected through Questioner and number analyzing. The Analyzing technique used in this study is unvaried analyze with frequency distribution and bivaried analyzing with Chi 5%?s statistic test. The statistic calculation program used to calculate the statistic test is SPSS ver. 16 and chi square (X2). Result: The result of this study shows that there?s a significant correlation of knowledge and the scope of Hepatitis B immunization on baby aged 0-7 days old (X2 arithmetic value = 42,4 ] X2 table = 7,851). There?s significant correlation in the scope of immunization in baby 0-7 days old, with faith (X2 arithmetic value = 84,97 ] X2 table = 3,841). The result (X2 arithmetic value = 1,6201 [ X2 Table = 3,841) shows that there?s no significant correlation between work factor with immunization scope of Hepatitis B in baby aged 0-7 days old. Conclusion: Based on the study, the suggestion that can be used for medical officer is that they must intensively look after the society who has less knowledge in immunization, and re-study whether the program for society is really working as planned to reach the target.
