Abstrak : The combined use of electrocoagulation and EAPR processes which is referred later on as ECOPHY on the laboratory wastewater treatment had been evaluated. The purpose of electrocoagulation process in this study was to reducing organic content, meanwhile the EAPR process was to reducing heavy metal concentration in the wastewater as well. The effectiveness of ECOPHY process on the waste water treatment was measured by COD, BOD, and heavy metal (Pb, Cu) concentration, respectively. Heavy metal concentration in the effluent of discharged water was also monitored by using fish bioaccumulation marker (Cyprinus carpio L). The result showed that the ECOPHY process could reduce the concentration of COD by 59.1 %, BOD by 56.6 %, Pb by 74.4% and Cu by 60.1 % from initial concentration. Those concentrations were met the water quality standard of class IV according to PP No.82/2001 about water quality management and control of water pollution.
