| Abstrak | : | Melamin is an organic substance that illegal application of mostly used by small portion of milk producers. Melamin is often used to increase the total of nitrogen content to find out the protein content in milk. Melamin analysis in this study is using KCKT method with reversed phase. Goal of this study is to ook at the effectiveness of HPLC to separate melamine in samples and also validation methods developed. Stasionary phase used is octadecyl-bonded silica (C18) and mobile phase of acetonitrile and aquabidest, flow rate of 0,5 mL/minute, and UV detector with wave length of 207 nm. The result of the study is showing linear relationship between the peak area with concentration range of 0,5 -10 ?g/ml, and coefficient of corellation (r) 0,999, obtained the regression equality of y =340225x + 60024. Obtained LOD is 0,14 ?g/ml dan LOQ 0,46 ?g/ml. Precision test in concentration of 5,8 ?g/ml provide the RSD value of 1,35%. Recovery test with add standards of melamin 8, 10, 12 ?g/ml has 80-120% rate. Result of sampel analysis is showing that method analysis is occupied the criteria from ICH. The existence of melamine in the sample is still in doubt, but the sample can still be declared safe for consumption in accordance with the limit of melamine in infant formula milk powder set by the FDA at 1 mg / kg .
