| Abstrak | : | Diarrheal disease is a very dangerous disease and happens in almost all geographic regions in the world and can affect all age groups of both men and women. In developing countries, including Indonesia, the children suffer diarrhea more than 12 times per year and it cause of death for 15-34% of all causes of death. One of many areas in Indonesia has experienced a case of diarrhea is Sleman regency. According to the BPS in 2008, the incidence of diarrhea in Sleman is quite high. In 2010 cases of diarrheal disease entered into first place in the top ten of the disease hospitalization in Sleman District Hospital (RSUD) in group age 1-4 years. Diarrheal disease is a disease that endemic and can spread through space or environmental component that needs be done research using spatial approach. This research to know whether there is spatial autocorrelation in the spread of diarrheal diseases that happen in Sleman and how the distribution pattern of diarrhea that happen in Sleman using Moran?s index. Based on the analysis of spatial autocorrelation using Moran?s index results obtained an index is 0.06282. The index value shows that there is no spatial autocorrelation in the spread of diarrheal diseases in Sleman regency, which means that the distribution of the disease in Sleman regency has a random pattern and there is no grouping.
