| Abstrak | : | Heart failure is a major public health problem in some countries. Result of Riskesdas 2013 showed that the prevalence of heart failure increases with age, the highest in the age of 65 ? 74 years (0.5%) for the diagnosis of a doctor, declined slightly at age = 75 years (1.1%). This study aims to describe drug-drug interactions in patients with heart failure. This study is the cross-sectional design and retrospective data collection in patients with heart failure who undergo inpatient January ? March 2014. The population taken in January ? December 2013. Data used in this study is secondary data to see patterns in the treatment of patients medical records. Analysis of data to classify the level of significance and mechanism of drug interaction pattern using the Drug Interaction Fact (Tatro, 2001). A number of 61 patients (68.5%) of the total 89 patients experienced 161 cases of heart failure in the treatment of drug interactions. Types of drug interactions in the case is an ACE inhibitor-furosemide 34 cases (19.88%), digoxin-furosemide 31 cases (18.13%), ACE inhibitors-spironolactone 23 cases (13.45%), digoxin-ACE inhibitors of 14 cases (8.19%), and digoxin-spironolactone 13 cases (7.6%). Based on the level of significance, a significance level 1 there are 48 occurrences of drug interaction (29.81%); significance level 2 with 24 occurrences drug interactions (14.91%); significance level 3 with 37 occurrences drug interactions (22.98%); significance level 4 with 38 occurrences drug interactions (23.60%); dan level signifikansi 5 dengan 14 kejadian interaksi obat (8,70%); Based on the pattern of the mechanism, pharmacokinetic interactions are 15 events (39.47%), and pharmacodynamic interactions with 5 events (13.16%) of the total 38 patterns of drug interaction mechanisms.
