| Abstrak | : | Fracture is bone condition a break continuity. unbroken continuity Surgical fracture is one that is at risk of surgical site infection. Use of antibiotics can increase the costs for hospitalized patients. The study was determined apropriatennes use of antibiotics and the costs analysis fracture surgery in Hospital PKU Muhammadiyah of Yogyakarta. This study is a descriptive study with retrospective data collection. The research material consists of the medical record, the patient cost for hospitalized. Eligible population is the inclusion of 226 patients 89 patients fracture surgery in 2013 at Hospital PKU Muhammadiyah of Yogyakarta. The data were analyzed descriptively to know the description, apropriatennes use of antibiotics and cost analysis include the cost of antibiotic, the cost of drugs and medical devices, the cost of services, the cost of medical support, and administrative costs. The results showed apropriatennes use of antibiotics prophylaxis the surgical fracture ceftriaxone iv(67,42%), cefotaxim iv (2,25%), and ceftriaxone iv iv + gentamicin (3,37%). Direct medical costs include costs fracture surgery patients antibiotics from 1,22%-2.99%, drug costs 4,39%-7,66%, the cost of medical devices from 6,12%-8,29%, the cost of services from 64,11%-73,53%, administrative costs 8,57%-14,88%.
