| Abstrak | : | Cabbage (Brassica oleracea L. var. capitata) contain indole compound that as inductor enzyme cytocrom P450 and contain isothiocyanate that can induce enzyme system in phase II metabolism. Inductor and inhibitor enzyme can affect rifampicin pharmacokinetic profile. This research aimed to determine the effect of cabbage juice toward rifampicin pharmacokinetic profile in male rats wistar. The animal test consists of two goup, that is control group and experimental group. Control group was given rifampicin 55 mg/kg BB rats, and experimental group was given pre-treatment cabbage juice 31.25 mg/kg BB rats for 14 days then the experimental group was given cabbage juice with rifampicin 55 mg/kg BB rats. Blood samples were taken at 0,25; 0,5; 1; 1,5; 2; 3; 4; 6; 8; 10; 12; 21; 24 hour, then determined the level of rifampicin in the blood. Level of rifampicin set by KCKT. The result obtained created rifampicin curve toward time, then determined pharmacokinetic parameters such as Vd, ClT, t?, k, AUC0-inf, AUMC0-inf, MRT, tmaks, and Cmaks. The result showed to increase Clt of 65,9%, The effect of Clt increase, the value of k increase 85.7%, decrease t? 39,6%, AUC0-inf 40,8%, AUMC0-inf 60,9%, MRT 34,34% (p[0,05).
