| Abstrak | : | The pharmacy services are the services and the responsibility of the pharmacist in pharmaceutical work. Pharmacist while doing pharmaceutical work, have able to communicate and collaborate with the doctors in determining the therapy to improve the patient's quality of life. This research is to find out the physicians? perception of the pharmacist?s roles in pharmaceutical work in primary health care in the district of Sleman and Bantul and to find out the relation between respondents? characteristics and the perceptions. This research is a descriptive research using the cross sectional research design. The data were collected through the questionnaire. The subject of the research consists of 34 respondents work on 13 primary health care in the district of Sleman and Bantul. The results showed that the physicians? perception of the pharmacist? roles in pharmaceutical work in primary health care in the district of Sleman and Bantul is categorized into very good level (55,88 %), and categorized into good (44.12%). The result chi square test, the characteristics of respondents that influence the perception were the sex, the age, the duration of work and the frequency of interaction.
