| Abstrak | : | Diarrhea is one of the digestive system diseases characterized by bowel movements that do not form or in a liquid consistency with increasing frequency. An estimated 1.8 million people died worldwide as a result of diarrheal diseases. The purpose of this study was to look at a picture and description of the results of the use of antidiarrheal antidiarrheal therapy is seen on the effectiveness of scaling back the frequency of diarrhea in adult patients undergoing hospitalized patient in Rumah Sakit Krakatau Medika Cilegon Banten in year 2013. This study is a descriptive study with cross-sectional and data retrieval retrospectively through a search of the patient's medical record. In this study, the type most widely used antidiarrheal attapulgite is 52.38% and 21.9% antibiotic ciprofloxacin. In this study also seen antidiarrheal effectiveness as seen from the decrease in the frequency of diarrhea of the condition of the patient until the patient received initial treatment of patients expressed as many as 100% effective at the antidiarrheal therapy.
