| Abstrak | : | Wayang Kulit is one of the craft that developed in Indonesia, where the shaping process is still using the manual method that requires a long time. This study aims to determine the parameters of cutting the skin and making wayang kulit using a laser cutting machine that is faster and can increase production capacity. Four stages of the experiment has been done to getthe perfect form of wayang kulit in the process of using a laser cutting machine. Starting with, design process the wayang kulit ; testing parameters to obtain optimal results; and last stage are cutting the leather using a laser cutting machine in accordance with a design that's been made. use of graphics software inkscape. From there sult showed that the puppet can be made using a laser cutting machine in the process of formation, with the result of a smoot her by the time for another 15 minutes of a puppet show and cost of rp 60 000/pcsParameters that most optimal in the formation of wayang kulit with the thickness of the skin & amp =1.8 mm use the machine laser cutting among others: the power of 80 watts, Ingestion rate of 30mm/min and laser eye distance to the work piece surface along the 20 mm.
