| Abstrak | : | As a state law, Indonesia has constituted a set of written regulations intended to maintain order in relation to the national development. One of them is the Regulation of the President of the Republic of Indonesia Number 54/2010 as a guide for the implementation of government procurement of goods and service. Every contractors in Indonesia should have already understand about that regulation before attending in Government Procurement. Unfortunately we haven?t know yet the comprehension level of contractors about the regulation above. This study aims to measure the comprehension of contractor towards the regulation of the government procurement of goods and service.At this study, sample were taken from contracktor in District Sleman and Yogyakarta City using the stratified random sample method. The population was divided into three subpopulation based on the qualification of contractors. Every sample/respondent was asked to fill in the multiple choice questionnaire. The questions were derived from the Regulation of the President Number 54/2010. The findings were then processed in such a way to obtain the average score of the contractors for each qualification.The observation result indicate that the big contractor has possessed the highest level of comprehension on the procurement regulation (score 75,31). In contraty, small contractor is known to possess low level of comprehension (score 33,64). Considering the territory, the contractors both in Sleman and Yogyakarta City possess similar level of comprehension score,which are 40,12 and 41,43 respectively. After all we expected any socialization about the Regulation of the President Number 54/2010 with small contractor as the highest priority in District Sleman and Yogyakarta City.Key Words: Contractor?s Comprehension, Government Procurement of Goods and Service |
