| Abstrak | : | This thesis comprises the final project design report titled Restructuring of Commercial Areas and Green Open Spaces along The Kaliurang?s Street Km. 14. The specific problems in this thesis is how to arrange commercial buildings so that doesn?t disturb traffic convenience and pedestrian. Because with the existence of street vendors that can lead to irregularity of the region, but with the buildings that doesn?t comply with local regulations can also be a trigger. Because of the street vendors are also supporting the region as an educational facility, then reorganized to be more organized and doesn?t interfere with pedestrian. And because of the Kaliurang?s Street is the area of education in dense residential areas, green open space that is required in order to preserve the natural. Design method used is to filter out the aspirations of the community surrounding hamlets. And work directly in the process of community aspirations by following the community meeting. So get suggestions from people around. Of the results obtained by the proposed aspirations that is, a play ground and a commercial area that could boost the economy of surrounding communities.
