Abstrak | : | Reseach about identification and components compiler isolation of nutmeg (Myristica fragrans houtt) essential oil, and also the chemical and physical properties has been conducted. Nutmeg essential oil is got by using water distilation. Hareinafter, identification components compiler is using GC-MS, and isolation to the applies components by using vaccum of fraksination destilation. The chemical and physical properties of oil i.e. density, optic rotation, alcohol condensation, saponification, and acid numberd. Result of the reseach shows 7,53 % of the destilated nutmeg essential oil of result incluiding five main components, thyare : 26,13 % sabine, 18,10 % alfa-pinene, 17,65 % beta-pinene, 9,76 % myristicin and 6,76 % limonene. The nutmeg essential oil perpormes its appearance colour ordor pale yellow, taste and ordor thypical of nutmeg , 0,897 density, 29,7o-29,8o optic rotation, 96 % alcohol condensation in 1,43 volume disolved, 95 % alcohol condensation in 2 volume disolved, 2,07 acid numberd and 38,84 saponification numberd.
