Abstrak | : | Since 1992, began operating what is a dual banking system in Indonesia. Applay conventional banking interest rates go hand in hand whit a base o f Islamic banking to the system o f Sharia. Policies such as this is a real option, because at this time in the community also think so, especially Small and Medium Enterprenuer?s. Public confidence in the bank's Sharia (Small and Medium Enterprenuer?s) that have been built long ago o f course not easy to be directed to the Islamic sharia-based banking. Knowledge o f Islamic banks is necessary to note Small and Medium Enterprenuer?s and other communities, because knowledge o f Islamic banks considered important in influencing them to become customers o f Islamic banks. His lack o f Islamic bank branches also influence the decision-making as a customer.This study aims to determine the preferences o f potential entrepreneurs and Small and Medium Enterprenuer?s to Islamic banking customers. Techniques o f data collection using questionnaires and interviews related to the research topic. Data analysis techniques using statistical analysis techniques presented in the description o f the frequency distribution that aims to describe the symptoms and factors that affect Small and Medium Enterprenuer?s. Based on the research results can be seen that: 1) Preferences Small and Medium Enterprenuer?s in Semarang is influenced by several factors. Dominating factor in their decision-making is; the name o f Islamic Sharia bank is used, the products offered by Islamic banks according to their needs, the information that Islamic banks do not miss, the results given Islamic banks is lower than conventional banks, Islamic banks as well as location within easy reach. 2) he potential o fSmall and Medium Enterprenuer?s in Semarang is very large, judging from the dominating factor in their decision to Islamic bank customers in the city of Semarang. Religion or religious factors do not affect their value in decision making.
