Abstrak : Technological advances have a great deal of impact towards the behavior and ways of life of a person. A way of life pictures a person in whole about their interaction with the environment. One of which are a trend and mostly favored by most people especially university student is a modern way of life. This modern way of life affects consumer?s decision, because by only following good images of modern life will give them the satisfaction. This could be inferred specifically to the effect towards social interaction, hanging out places and way of appearances. The purpose of this research is to know how big the influence a way of life towards a Muslim consumer, specifically towards Muslim students who are majoring Islamic Economy at some Islamic universities in Yogyakarta. This research is done by doing some questionnaires, observations, and documentations. The data analysis techniques used were quantitative measures and double linear regression in which these being used to know how far the effects would give towards muslim consumer behaviour also in finding the dominant way of life variable. Based on the research, the results are: 1) Test t (partially) and r (simultaneously) result is showing that life style variable does not have a significant effect towards the Islamic consumption behavior; this is because the third variable which is partial or simultaneous is exceeding the significant scale determined by a = 5%. Then it can be seen from r square value/coefficient determination which is showing 17% from the life style variable, this could explain the changes on Islamic behaviour consumption. 2) From the three life style variable (X1=activity, X2=interest, and X3=opinion), opinion variable is the most dominant towards life styles.
