Abstrak : The main purpose of this research was to examine the correlation between internal locus of control and job satisfaction among the production worker at PT Xylo Indah Pratama. The hyphothesis was based on the assumption that higher the internal locus of control was correlated with the higher job satisfaction. The subjects of this research were 125 employees. Their ages range from 20 to 55 years. The data were collected using two quetionnaires : internal locus of control quetionnaires is a modification scale by Levenson?s theory (Robinson & Shaver, 1973) and job satisfaction quetionnaires is a modification of job satisfaction scale by Spector theory (1997). Data were analyzed using Pearson?s Product moment. The result of the research are : (1) the positive correlation between internal locus of control and job satisfaction (r= .579, p=0.000, p[ 0.05), (2) and in this study internal locus of control contributes 30.1% to pressing job satisfaction Key words : Job Satisfaction, Internal Locus of Control,The Production Worker
